About

Our school offers a broad base of academic programming, tailoring the individual academic needs of every learner in our classrooms. Our school has a strong Catholic Christian focus and all members of our school community work collaboratively to assist students in achieving personal and academic success in an organized and safe and caring environment. Our goal is to develop and preserve in each student a sense of self-worth and self-confidence.  Please feel free to take a look at what we have to offer and if you would like to explore further, please feel free to stop by anytime. We would love to show you around!

Motto

Inspired by Christ on a Journey to Encounter, Nurture, and Serve.

Inspiré par Dieu dans une aventure à découvrir, grandir, et servir.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is based on the teachings of Christ. We look for Christ in every child and their potential to be Christ-like. We see the school, the home and the Church as an integral part of this education. We recognize parents as first teachers, with the school and the Church playing a supportive role in the total development of the child. Therefore, it is our hope at École Mother Teresa School that the parents and clergy will be directly involved in the concerns of the child.

As a Catholic school, we endeavor to foster with each child the Christian values of the Catholic Church and to encourage the application of these values in the child’s daily association with others.

Through the daily application of Christian values, we hope to develop a happy and loving environment, in which each child’s needs are met. Opportunities will be provided so that each child will develop his/her talents and as a consequence, a feeling of self-worth.

We recognize that there are five dimensions to a child’s growth: intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional and social. These five dimensions can be best promoted through the supportive role of the home, the school and the Church.
